Excellent hotel for travelers, vacationers, and business travelers alike. The room was spotless and the setting pleasant, although the road nearby wasn't unbearable. The owner, Paule, is very professional and friendly; she did everything she could to make me comfortable during my month-long stay. Thank you again.

Very comfortable overnight stay at La Jalousie.  It is an ideal stop over on route to or from Ouistreham ferry and to explore the Caen area. Well-equipped private room with outdoor space, fridge, kettle, large shower room and excellent parking. The host Paule was very helpful. Great communication. We arrived late evening but he gave clear instructions on how to find the hotel and our room. Thank you Paule we will definitely stay again.

Arriving with some apprehension due to the negative reviews I'd read, I quickly realized that every experience is unique. I was welcomed by the manager (Paule), who was charming and took excellent care of me for four days. The rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, the food is very good, and the setting is lovely. Indeed, if you sleep with the windows open, you might be disturbed by the nearby road. But with the windows closed, you won't notice the noise and will sleep like a baby.
