La Kasa de l'Ours sur Les Angles

We had a wonderful evening at Kasa de l'Ours. The portions were generous and full of flavor. We ordered seared tuna and ribeye steak, both perfectly cooked. The tuna was melt-in-your-mouth tender and well-seasoned. The ribeye was tender and generously portioned. For dessert, we chose the chocolate fondant and the Nutella French toast, and again, the portions were incredibly generous! The fondant was wonderfully gooey, which isn't always the case, and the Nutella-filled brioche was smothered in a beautiful layer! A pleasant surprise came with the bill, something that hadn't happened to us in a long time: our coffees were on the house! In short, we highly recommend this establishment, which truly delivers excellent food and takes great care of its customers, even those just passing through. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Les Angles. Thank you!

There were four of us, and we each ordered a different main course and dessert. All the food was of average quality for the price (there's a good chance it was partly frozen, even the meat and fish). The portion sizes were also a major issue. We're not big eaters, but we easily finished our meals, which were accompanied by bread. The main part of the dish (meat/fish) was sufficient, but the side dishes (mashed potatoes, sauce, etc.) were clearly lacking. Furthermore, the dishes lacked flavor. The chocolate fondant, however, was excellent. It's a shame the tiramisu was inedible if you don't like it, with its extremely strong coffee flavor. Two-thirds of the staff who spoke to us (including the manager) were rushed and the service was a bit sloppy. I think this restaurant, which tries to be a bit fancy, isn't worth the price, but it must be one of the better options in the area, which is why I'm not giving it less than 3 stars.

A very good restaurant with well-prepared and beautifully presented dishes. The staff is pleasant and welcoming. The only point for improvement is the wait time, which was a little long when we visited. Apart from that, everything was very good.
