Little getaway to Normandy in the middle of the week. I find myself visiting Falaise and William the Conqueror. Not much open for lunch, after a short tour of the old ramparts. So I find myself in this brewery. 70s atmosphere, old-fashioned bar, Formica, etc…I loved it. We feel at home. The dishes are simple, hearty and very good...old-fashioned: no balsamic ziguigui, no convoluted dressings. The prices are very fair. We eat basic food and from time to time it feels good. Even if the boss looks a bit like Mr Burns and is stingy with words during the service, I would go back just for this little trip back in time. To recommend

Had a lovely snack lunch today - croque monsieur and frites. Friendly fast service and very reasonably priced - only wish I lived closer to this place

After having lunch there at noon, I looked at the reviews and I was surprised by the comments about the boss, for my part very warm welcome (we are talking about the same one, apparently he has been there for 17 years)... we can - be the welcome we deserve..., for the menu 15€80 starter/main course/dessert or cheese it's very correct I recommend
