Locanda in Nîmes is an excellent choice for Italian food lovers! The dishes are delicious, prepared with quality ingredients, and the prices are reasonable. Vegetarian options are available. It's best to make a reservation, as the restaurant is often full. Most of the staff are very welcoming, although we were once treated rather rudely, which is why my husband doesn't want to go back. The only real downside is the tea/herbal tea: it's from Carrefour! Frankly, it's a shame, as it contrasts sharply with the quality of the rest of the meal. Without that, I would have given it 5 stars.

The pizza was generally good, but the bottom was badly burnt, indicating that the oven is poorly cleaned, or not cleaned at all, which affects the taste of the pizza, as it has a burnt flavor. The service was average: one waiter wearing glasses was very friendly and pleasant, while the other was very cold and unfriendly. In the room opposite the main dining area, the restrooms were left open all the time, which was unhygienic. It would also be good to mention on the website that reservations are recommended, as this information doesn't appear on the site or on Google Maps, even though the first question the waiters ask is whether you have a reservation. If you don't indicate anywhere that a reservation is necessary, don't require it. Overall, I consider the visit average: there are things to improve, but it wasn't a disaster.

Best pizzeria in Nîmes. Very good pizzas, great selection of options. Affordable menus and always friendly, fast service. The problem is that you're more likely to find a date on Tinder than to get a table...
