A la Bottarga is a Bastia institution, and I've eaten there three times! Two lunches and one dinner, all of which I thoroughly enjoyed! I had the pleasure of meeting Séraphin and his family, who all work together to create sophisticated, original, and absolutely delicious cuisine! The stuffed mussels, the bottarga, the linguine, the tuna from Cap Corse (oh my goodness, the tuna!), we feasted from appetizer to dessert! And the team is fantastic; you feel welcome and valued, but without any pretension! I could spend hours there! Thank you to Séraphin and the entire team for this fabulous culinary experience! Excellent restaurant on the market square, top-notch cuisine, superb service, and great value for money – you won't find better. If you have the chance to visit, a quick stop is a must; you'd have to be very picky not to be satisfied. I highly recommend it.

Centrally located in Bastia, near the Piazza del Mercato, with outdoor seating in a refined and clean atmosphere. Generous and delicious seafood dishes with excellent value. The owner is friendly and helpful, as are the staff! Excellent service, a place I would return to at the first opportunity!

Fabulous restaurant in the city center. Excellent culinary experience: exquisite, imaginative dishes made with quality ingredients. The owner, Serafino, is very knowledgeable, friendly, personable, and attentive. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommended.

Very attentive and friendly service, food was also very tasty. One star is missing because there were too many sardines in the fritto misto for my taste.

We booked via WhatsApp, so it was very convenient: quick response and easy organization. We showed up at 8:40 PM and were seated at a half-set table: silverware was missing, a glass was dirty, and a plate hadn't been washed properly. We reported this to the waiter, who immediately fixed everything and took our orders at 8:50 PM. The first appetizer arrived at 10:00 PM, so after more than an hour of waiting. Furthermore, only one portion arrived instead of the two requested. We called the waiter and explained that there had been a misunderstanding, and they quickly resolved the issue by bringing us the second portion. Otherwise, the food was very good, the waiters were helpful and attentive, and some even spoke Italian. Overall, I think it was just a bad night. We'll try again, hoping for a better experience.
