Super! A very beautiful, intimate, and shady spot with a soothing little fountain. The produce is very fresh, the homemade tarts are magnificent, and the products are local. There's also a lovely little shop. You feel right at home, and the welcome is very warm. A haven of peace to discover, where you can take the time for meditation. Thank you for this moment.

A superb moment in this idyllic, shaded spot, perfect for lunch after visiting the castle. The set menu was fresh and delicious. The wines were also excellent. €60 for three people, including wine, a main course, and homemade dessert. Highly recommended.

Shaded terrace, beautiful view, friendly welcome. The food was delicious; the pie was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and even though I don't usually like salad, I didn't leave a single leaf... and the raspberry tart was perfect. A nice bonus: they sell local products. I highly recommend it.

After visiting the castle and arriving a little late, we were treated like royalty. The small terrace under its canopy, with its little fountain, invites calm and serenity. The single dish, cooked by the owner, was a culinary delight, and the owner, with whom we had a lovely chat, is also very kind. Our cat was allowed out of his carrier and was happiest lying under the hydrangeas. The little shop inside is charming, and I bought a soap for €1.50 less than elsewhere. I highly recommend it and will return if the opportunity arises. Thank you for this wonderful, timeless experience.

Charming and welcoming café-restaurant. Excellent meal under the pergola. Full plate, craft beer, organic fruit juice, local ice cream = a real treat. A thoroughly enjoyable moment during a visit to a beautiful hilltop village.

25/01/2026: Excellent meal! We spent a few days in the area and this was the best restaurant we ate at.
23/01/2026: A wonderful discovery! While exploring the region, I stumbled upon this lovely, warm atmosphere. The staff were attentive and caring! The dining room is beautiful and inviting! The meal was excellent, beautifully presented, and the weekday menu was very reasonably priced! Starter, main course, dessert... everything was perfect! The wine list offers affordable prices! The rosé from the local abbey was excellent value! What more can I say?! I can't wait to go back! Thank you for your hospitality!

Les Geraniums

13/06/2024: I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The purpose of the trip was to unwind and climb Mt Ventoux. Staying at Les Geraniums in Le Barroux served the the unwinding bit to such an extent, that I completely switched off. The easy pace of the surroundings and the relaxed and 'at home' feeling I experienced at Les Geraniums outperformed any retreats or health spas I have come across. Huw and Geraldine were super hosts and couldn't do enough for us. Everything about the stay was idyllic and postcard perfect. I have recommended Les Geraniums and Le Barroux to my sister and she has already booked a stay for September. Setting out I expected Mt Ventoux to be the highlight of our short visit but our resounding memories are of dining, drinking exceptional wine on the terrace and absorbing the breath-taking views and great conversation. A return visit is on my bucket list.
12/04/2024: This is a charmng place providing real value for money for a three star hotel. From the location overlooking the mountains and town below to the friendly, welcoming owners and the delicious dinner and breakfast served. Le Barroux is a beautiful village and this is a magnificent base to use to explore the region. We stayed on the top floor (no lift) and it provides a commanding view. Quirky rooms but with everything we needed. The property has cascading external terraces with picturesque views; the terraces were being prepared for spring and summer visitors while we were there. Hugh, thanks for your hospitality.
