A little restaurant I stumbled upon one lunchtime, and ever since, whenever we're craving couscous, we immediately think of La Mamounia. The best quality/price ratio in Nantes. Plus, you'll be greeted by a very kind, welcoming, and respectful gentleman. It's always a pleasure to come here with the family. Remember to book a few days in advance. They also offer takeout, but reservations are required. I highly recommend La Mamounia.

A very good restaurant, simple, efficient, and unassuming. The staff were very friendly, the prices were very reasonable, we will be back.

Excellent Moroccan restaurant, the tagines are delicious, the atmosphere is pleasant with very melodious traditional music. The owner is very kind and helpful. Remember to book ahead as there aren't many tables. Highly recommended.

An exceptional address, a delightful journey! What a find this gem is! The food is wonderful, but above all, it leaves you deeply moved! The Mamounia tagine I tasted was simply marvelous, flavorful: meltingly tender lamb shank, delicately caramelized dried fruit, perfectly balanced spices… and even a few little touches added according to the chef's inspiration. And what can I say about the mint tea: fragrant, balanced, not too sweet… pure bliss. You can taste the heartfelt cooking, the passion, and the immense talent. But beyond the food, it's meeting Salah that makes this place so unique. A Tunisian gentleman of incredible gentleness and rare kindness, with a gaze that is both benevolent and mischievous, possessing a subtle sense of humor and natural elegance. A truly beautiful person, in the deepest sense of the word. He cooks with passion and welcomes us like royalty. He greeted us at the door as if we were guests in his own home, seated us, prepared the dishes, served us, chatted with us, offered us small oriental pastries, and then escorted us to the door again… What class, what savoir-vivre, what respect! A “small gentleman” perhaps in stature, but with a huge heart. A man who loves to share: his love of Tunisia, his love of food, his love of people. And all of this is evident in every dish. The service is warm, sincere, and deeply human, and the restaurant's atmosphere reflects this same kindness. An address brimming with passion, authenticity, and Tunisian and Moroccan flavors. An authentic and unforgettable dinner.

An exceptional restaurant run from start to finish by Salah, a very kind Tunisian gentleman who cooks delicious couscous and tagines with all his heart. You won't be disappointed. The prices are very reasonable; you can eat very well for two for less than €50.

What more can I say than all the positive reviews about this restaurant where this gentleman received us with kindness, by reservation only; he will be able to explain why. The couscous is just as excellent as the welcome. My Breton friend who was celebrating his birthday that evening, had asked me to find a restaurant with couscous, he was delighted. Thank you, sir.
