La Mamounia sur Valence

The staff is very pleasant and attentive. The restaurant's decor is perfect. From the appetizer to the dessert, we ate incredibly well. The wait between courses was perfect. It's a 10/10. I highly recommend it.

A very nice restaurant with beautiful Moroccan decor. Impeccable welcome and service. Delicious tagine and couscous; we had a wonderful time and will definitely return with our children.

After several failed attempts to find couscous in Montélimar, we ventured all the way to Valence. The service was decent, and the dining room was pleasant. It was also well-located, close to the town's main square, the "Grande Fontaine."

Very warm welcome. Excellent and generous portions. We will return when we are in Valence.

We ate a good couscous, however the waiter was far from friendly… no hello or goodbye!

I had a pretty average experience today. Before going there, you had to reserve a seat. Once at the table, we were given a menu. After waiting a while for the waiter to ask us what we wanted, he seemed busy until we called him over. We ordered a starter: 3 chicken samosas. We waited 40 minutes because they were too salty. While we waited for the main course (it took about an hour to arrive), we were accompanied by "very friendly customers" (I wish) who stared at us non-stop, probably because we were the only non-French people there. One of them even gave me a dirty look when I decided to look back at him. Overall, the main course was good. Honestly, we ordered couscous and lamb with a drink and ended up spending 59 euros for two people. The only disappointing thing was the wait time and the presence of other customers, but overall it was okay. (One more thing to say is that I'm opening up about how I actually felt today so that other customers can realize it and know that it's not nice to treat people like that and everyone should mind their own business honestly, no matter where you are, just as you would like to feel if it were you!)

As a long-time loyal customer, I highly recommend La Mamounia. The welcome is always warm, the service attentive and friendly. The dishes are delicious, fragrant, and plentiful, with authentic flavors that never disappoint. Special mention for the tagines and royal couscous, a real treat! The decor is magnificent and immediately immerses you in an oriental atmosphere. Each visit is a renewed pleasure. A must-visit in Valencia for lovers of Moroccan cuisine.
