La Mare Au Diable sur Reau

I really appreciate this restaurant, not only for its ambiance with the large fireplace in the dining room, but also for the quality of the food and the consistently discreet and impeccable service. My favorite dish is the tagliatelle flambéed with Parmesan, prepared right in front of us in a large Parmesan wheel. But the other dishes are just as delicious, and the presentation is always very refined. In addition, delectable little pastries are offered as appetizers and with coffee. In short, I highly recommend this restaurant!

A truly delightful experience, always renewed on our visits; Enchanting décor in a verdant setting, a splendid terrace for summer, a pleasant and soothing interior, consistently excellent service, and of course, refined, beautifully presented, and delicious dishes. A very interesting menu and a "sunrise menu": amuse-bouche, starter, main course, dessert, and extra little cakes to accompany our coffee for 57 euros. It deserves a Michelin star!

In a sumptuous setting and relaxing atmosphere, La Mare au Diable offers gourmet cuisine at an acceptable price. A mini raw fish taco and three amuse-bouches are served before the starter, then nothing between courses. I think a different distribution would be appreciated. The tagliatelle in the Parmesan wheel is very comforting, but one expects more, perhaps a bit more texture... The shrimp and lobster ravioli is sorely lacking in generosity; one feels a slight frustration that is out of place when one only allows oneself this kind of outing a handful of times a year. Otherwise, everything was perfect: service worthy of a fine restaurant, just the right seasoning, perfect cooking... A moment suspended in time in the house of George Sand...

We had a lovely Valentine's Day dinner; the meal was delicious, the waiter was very attentive, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. A place we highly recommend. Thank you again for a wonderful evening! 👍👍

There were eight of us. We ordered the €57 set menu. And what a treat! The starters, main courses, and desserts were all absolutely top-notch. Absolutely nothing to complain about! The staff were professional yet friendly—a rare find these days in Parisian restaurants! We had a wonderful time. It's not our first time. We've been before, and each time it's even better! Excellent value for money. A big thumbs up!
