A great find! I've driven past it for almost 45 years without stopping, but this time I finally did. Even though I'm from the area, my wife had a crêpe, and I, being a meat lover, ordered an entrecôte. I was very happy with my choice; the meat was excellent, cooked exactly as I asked. A lovely establishment, we'll be back! 👍

A fantastic restaurant with a truly excellent selection. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The team is quite young, but they run the place very well – they're friendly, attentive, and flexible. Even those who don't speak French very well can easily get by with English. The prices are fair. Highly recommended! 👍

Exceptional, simple, relaxing atmosphere and very pleasant setting. The quality is there. We'd been wanting to stop there for years every time we went to the beach. Why didn't we do it sooner? Absolutely amazing, congratulations to the whole team!

During our vacation in Normandy, we had dinner at La Mare au Lièvre, and what a wonderful discovery! The setting is absolutely magnificent: a charming, warm, and very pleasant place that immediately makes you want to linger. You feel at ease as soon as you arrive. And then, the food… absolutely incredible! Everything was delicious, generous, and perfectly prepared. We truly enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end. The service was also top-notch. The owner and her sons are lovely, incredibly welcoming, and genuinely friendly. A real sense of conviviality, a lot of kindness, and a warm welcome that makes all the difference. And to top it all off, the prices are very reasonable considering the quality. We ate extremely well for a very low price, with truly exceptional value for money. In short, a magnificent place: a superb setting, excellent cuisine, delightful service, and very fair prices. A real gem that we recommend without hesitation!

Excellent galettes and crêpes. A very pleasant Norman-style inn. Don't forget to request a table on the terrace when you book.

Poached egg: overcooked. Bread not up to bakery standards and could be served in a larger portion. Buckwheat galette: the batter lacked flavor. Sweet options were better than savory ones; desserts were okay. Young staff. Pleasant garden, but right next to a busy road.

Excellent service, surroundings, and food. Highly recommended. Dog friendly. Pleasant rural setting.

Discovered by chance, and now a must-visit for us: this restaurant, just a few minutes from Villers sur Mer, is a real gem!
