The food is refined and beautifully presented; they have an excellent young chef. The weekday lunch menu, priced under €20, offers only one main course (so no choice), with only a selection of starters and desserts (which were delicious), which is a shame. On the other hand, the service is mediocre: regular customers are treated better than tourists. During service, the waitress held the knife points just centimeters from the customer. She also served our dishes to another table without apologizing when she brought them back. As for the young waiter, when we arrived, he saw us but stayed behind the bar; I had to go over to him for him to attend to us, although he was very friendly. Finally, he forgot to set the cutlery with the dessert. Furthermore, there is sometimes a bit of a wait when there is only one person serving. We ate very well, but we found the welcome and service a little disappointing...

An authentic place, a warm welcome, and delicious local, homemade cuisine. A real treat, I highly recommend it.

This roadside restaurant on the way to the sea is well worth a stop. The setting is very pleasant and green. The dining room is bright and inviting. The cuisine is excellent, thanks to the chef's skill and the quality of the ingredients. The prices are very reasonable. The owner is very welcoming. He has a keen eye for detail, providing pleasant and unobtrusive table service with attention to each customer. You'll have a lovely time in what I would call a family atmosphere, and if you wish, you can sample Norman specialties accompanied by a good cider from local producers. Sincerely.

Excellent food. Great value for money. The servers are friendly. The portions are generous. Our first experience at this restaurant, and we were delighted. We can't wait to go back.

A great find! I've driven past it for almost 45 years without stopping, but this time I finally did. Even though I'm from the area, my wife had a crêpe, and I, being a meat lover, ordered an entrecôte. I was very happy with my choice; the meat was excellent, cooked exactly as I asked. A lovely establishment, we'll be back! 👍

During our vacation in Normandy, we had dinner at La Mare au Lièvre, and what a wonderful discovery! The setting is absolutely magnificent: a charming, warm, and very pleasant place that immediately makes you want to linger. You feel at ease as soon as you arrive. And then, the food… absolutely incredible! Everything was delicious, generous, and perfectly prepared. We truly enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end. The service was also top-notch. The owner and her sons are lovely, incredibly welcoming, and genuinely friendly. A real sense of conviviality, a lot of kindness, and a warm welcome that makes all the difference. And to top it all off, the prices are very reasonable considering the quality. We ate extremely well for a very low price, with truly exceptional value for money. In short, a magnificent place: a superb setting, excellent cuisine, delightful service, and very fair prices. A real gem that we recommend without hesitation!
