La Marine sur Ouistreham

Hello... I had lunch there about two weeks ago with my husband. We waited five minutes for a table. There were other people having coffee, as were two other tables. It's a shame, the lovely veranda should be closed to drinks after a certain time, and the restaurant itself should be kept open to avoid having to turn customers away. Sincerely, As for the food, I ordered the chef's suggestion, grilled beef. It was good quality and cooked properly (rare these days). It was a shame it was served on a cold plate. The fries, however, need improvement!

Don’t believe the bad reviews here ! The owners changed very recently and the restaurant is now the best in this price range in Ouistreham. A young couple, with experience. The vegetables are hand cut, the sauces tasty, the fish right from the market. What a pleasure after the previous two owners. Completely renovated. The only thing I don’t understand is why the new owners didn’t change the name, to get rid of the bad reviews on the internet and to show that they are different. On the other hand, the locals have adapted, the place is now full during lunch time… :-)

Hamburger with a sweet brioche bun, no pickles: a sugary dish. Thousand-thin, lukewarm fries. Very familiar waiter: bordering on rude. As a resident of Ouistreham, I won't be back.

Warm welcome, pleasant atmosphere, friendly team, fresh and quality products, we will return without hesitation.

New owners for two weeks now. What a change! Great value for money, homemade dishes with fresh ingredients, delicious traditional cuisine, plus the staff are incredibly welcoming. I highly recommend it. A special mention to Solenn who served us with a smile.
