La Meunière sur Thannenkirch

Only ate at the restaurant one evening. Disappointed in its general quality price fortunately that the setting enhances the place. The fireplace would have been nice to have been lit...a shame there too.

We just had dinner, but the atmosphere, the staff, everything was very good.

BMW Z group meal...what can I say...a Delight!! From appetizers to dessert...extraordinary, fine cuisine, we're addicted to it!

Very beautiful place in Alsace, very quiet village.

Our favourite chill-out place, in the quiet hamlet of Thannenkirch. 9 visits in 19 years is testament to our love of the hotel and the region. I don't want you visiting because I want it to remain MY secret, but that would be unfair. We use it as a home base and take days out to enjoy all that this area offers, without constantly meeting English tourists. Be prepared to use your French & German, but most locals speak some English. If they don't, we find a way with a friendly smile. A 6 yr break due to work and Covid meant we noticed differences in the hotels offerings this time, not all that we liked, but the welcome, the hotel and rooms, and the way we were greeted again and looked after, were first class. 'Mr Bob' recommends you go - reluctantly!

Nous étions un groupe d’une vingtaine de septuagénaires pour un séjour en Alsace. C’est après la visite guidée du haut Koenisbourg que nous avons rejoint cette auberge à 10mn du château. Un grand parking, Une maison aux balcons richement fleuris , décor type chalet, et un chaleureux accueil. Tous ont apprécié le repas: rosace de thon/ melon, bœuf Angus , munster et tartelette glace menthe et fruits rouges. Je recommande sans retenue !

Super endroit mais à éviter si vous avez une carte cadeau, est ce le hazard , mais attendre si longtemps pour être servi.....alors les derniers arrivés sont servis avant vous. Quant à l accueil, pas terrible ,c est vrai que le temps n est pas terrible, mais un sourire et un ton aimable ça change tout.
