One of the best restaurants for mussels, I'm never disappointed! The pizzas and burgers are also very good and the staff are always friendly.

On our cycling trip from Nantes to Concarneau, we stopped in Guidel beach on Thursday, May 21st, 2026.
We received a warm welcome 🤗 from Will and his team.
We enjoyed some excellent mussels.
Manon, a nurse and friend of Will's, treated my knee, which I injured in a fall from my bike ☺️, allowing us to continue our journey and have a wonderful weekend in Concarneau.

Don't be fooled by the unassuming, colorful, and somewhat unpretentious atmosphere of "La Moule qui Saoule" (The Drunk Mussel).
They serve a tempting menu of mussels and fries, pizza, salads, and burgers featuring local specialties, and they do everything exceptionally well.
Add to that impeccable service, generous portions, and classic cocktails and desserts, and you have a near-perfect experience that led us to book two nights in a row without ever getting tired of it, and with great enthusiasm.

We received a very warm welcome, the mussels were excellent, and the generous pizza was a real crowd-pleaser. The gourmet coffee was also very nice. We were delighted to have found this restaurant so close to the beach. There was a slightly long wait to order, but it was the beginning of our vacation, so it was forgivable.
