La Paillote Cesar sur Sausset-Les-Pins

Meal for 5 in the evening, the place and the staff are very pleasant. We had a pretty good time overall. The sea bream, ratatouille and praline cream were well appreciated.

We had dinner last night because it had been a long time since we had been here...not only is it no longer at all "les GIRELLES" that I knew but we were also very disappointed by the dishes "Overcooked and dry sea bass to be served with vegetables and gnocchi replaced without excuse or explanation by 3 small pieces of polenta..no dish is less than 45 euros even in Aix we have never paid for a dish that expensive.. Chocolate dessert meh even though we are fans of chocolate we didn't finish and finally the wait was too long which meant that we were no longer hungry when the dishes arrived. In conclusion, the restaurant lives on its reputation. And you pay a lot for the sea view that you don't really have (view of the parking lot) We will not come back!

We came to eat for lunch. The setting is pleasant, feet in the sand. The servers are very friendly. As for the food, we had 2 beef tartares, good but not extraordinary either. Very good fries! The mojitos, a little bland, but well dosed with rum. In short, we still had a good time and we will come back sometime!

Le cadre est magnifique mais on le paye . Les assiettes sont très bonnes (pas les salades qui sont très sommaire) mais pas du tout copieux pour le prix. Les cocktails et apéro très chers par rapport à la quantité des verres. Le serveur très très sympathique et souriant mais le responsable beaucoup moins.

We go to the hut every summer and to the spot in the winter, we are always well received, I have nothing to complain about this establishment. The first time we came for dinner on a slightly cool summer evening and the waiter kindly brought us blankets, a kindness which means that now when we want to eat at the seaside in the evening we know where to go so as not to be disappointed. . We also came back with our baby for a snack and a great welcome.

How weak it is in cooking! The comparison with the MyPitchu hut where we had lunch yesterday is cruel. We have fun there. Here, we rail against a flavorless salad that isn't even sauced (even though we're in Sausset!...), against a tartare that has nothing fun about it when with a little willpower we can so easily make a dish out of it. signature… only the fries were good. In short, the bill remains in your throat (even if the prices are ok), and you're angry at having ruined your lunch on the beach... PS: I added a star for the young person with the very friendly and dedicated service and his cool golden goose t-shirt.
