Magnificent sea view, impeccable service, and excellent quality meals at an affordable price. The chocolate fondant I had for dessert three years ago is still a vivid memory!

On Sunday, May 31st, I came with my family for lunch. Having made a reservation, I was lucky enough to be seated on the walkway near the window with a view of the English Channel. The dishes were beautifully presented, and the service impeccable. The bill was reasonable at €138.50 for three adults, including aperitifs and rosé wine. They even offered a rose for Mother's Day. It's a shame that the Côté Sud restaurant at the casino hotel is closed on Sundays at lunchtime. I find the cuisine there to be far superior to La Passerelle (though it doesn't have a view of the Channel).

Avoid this place if you have celiac disease! The allergen list is incorrect (oysters, shrimp, whelks, seafood = gluten). All the desserts, like the Tropezienne tart, are gluten-free (spot the mistake!). The waitress assured us that the Tropezienne was indeed gluten-free and organic – completely irrelevant for someone with celiac disease at risk! Luckily, we didn't listen to her because when we asked the kitchen, she was clearly wrong! (Slow service! Expect a wait.)
