Excellent welcome, very pleasant and professional waiters and managers. Refined and very good cuisine.

Ate on a lovely houseboat by the sea. Very warm welcome. A wide selection of food. Generous and delicious. We had a wonderful time.

The restaurant is very well located, with a sea view; no surprise, since you're being served on a houseboat. The menu is enticing, but the restaurant's number one asset is its magic. That's certainly what I experienced last Sunday when I went there. I wasn't particularly cheerful that day, despite a warm welcome from the staff. But what really caught my attention was this very friendly stranger sitting right next to our table who immediately offered to take a picture of my friend and me... and who then (perhaps mistakenly?) offered us our entire meal (I only learned this later, with great emotion), even though we didn't deserve it in any way. A seafood meal, quite expensive, not just a simple aperitif. And without even warning us, like a true gentleman. An incredibly generous, heroic, chivalrous, majestic, unexpected gesture that made me feel a little uneasy, even unsettled, though in the end I'm very grateful to him. Finally, my finances! I want to tip my hat to him (will I ever manage to emulate him?) and if I run into him, I won't hesitate to pay him back. That was my unforgettable experience at "La Péniche." I can only give my vote to this restaurant, which is unique in every way.

The very energetic and welcoming madame does it all. We spent a lovely evening in the rays of the setting sun. Seafood to lick your fingers.

We stumbled upon this restaurant and it's a very good one that I highly recommend. They give a super warm welcome, always checking if everything is alright, and are always attentive and smiling. The food is impeccable; the meat was just slightly undercooked, but otherwise everything was perfect. The restrooms are very clean, no complaints there.

Frozen seafood, cold food, and reheating in the microwave: a bad experience.
