My wife and I came for lunch today. When we ordered, I was told it wouldn't be the butcher's steak and fries (€24.90) as listed on the menu; it had been replaced with kebabs. No matter, meat is meat. They brought me ONE kebab (5 pieces)! I had a pitcher of wine to go with it, and my wife had a carafe of water. She had ordered andouillette sausage and fries, which was fine. I ordered a second batch of fries (I say one batch because there weren't any more), and it was brought to me after I'd finished my first plate (too late)! For dessert, my wife had a floating island, and I had a gourmet coffee. The bill came to €76.50, including €24.90 for the kebab and €3.90 for the second potato 😡 In conclusion, we ate relatively well, but the kebab and the potato are still hard to swallow! My wife asked me not to make a scene in front of everyone, so I complied and held back. We paid as much as in Paris, and yet we were in Brou!!! We won't be going back to this establishment; there are plenty of others nearby.
