Excellent village restaurant, very welcoming, helpful, and well-served...and the food was of a very high standard. 5 stars well deserved.

We stopped by for dinner without a reservation. We got a spot under the veranda. Super hot, but okay, no problem. We were also greeted kindly, so everything made a good first impression. After taking our seats, we had to wait 15 minutes for the menu, which was simply sitting at a table next to us. Our dog got a drink before us—thank you for that—but we are dehydrated too. Offering water immediately wouldn't be any trouble, I think. People after us had to wait a long time to be seated and to have their orders taken. Clearly understaffed. Despite the success of the reviews, which was the reason we came here, we felt that score was currently too high. The young man did his best. The lady did too, but there was a lack of joy in her work. Shouting at her staff in the kitchen and hastily tapping a beer behind the bar to drink it in full view all came across as very unprofessional. When people took their seats at the front door, the plastic curtains finally went up and a draft came in—what a relief. Couldn't that have been done earlier? Asking for the bill had to be done twice. And people stood there for an infinitely long time with their empty plates in front of them, including our own. It was too busy for two people. Respect for your work, but extra hands are needed here. Therefore, our experience was not excellent. The food: 1 word: sublime. Compliments to the chef, as he will have a significant influence on this restaurant's high score. Do not take this review defensively, but hopefully as a point for improvement, because this has much more potential than what we experienced. That is why 3 Stars.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant, which was peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of tourist areas. The food was excellent.

Came her after a nice hike. They welcomed us despite having no reservation. We had a fantastic buratta salad (easily adapted to be vegetarian) and trout, all presented wonderfully! Location was especially beautiful.
