Arrived here late after a long day of hiking, completely exhausted, muddy, and loaded with gear (including snowshoes), and I couldn’t have asked for a warmer welcome. The staff were exceptionally friendly and made me feel at ease straight away, despite me probably not being the most presentable guest! The room was simple and no-frills, but very clean and comfortable—exactly what I needed after a big day outdoors. What really stood out was how accommodating they were with food. I mentioned I was vegan and didn’t expect much, especially in a rural area in France, and was ready to just eat one of my camping meals in the room. Instead, they went out of their way to prepare a generous plate of fresh salad with vinaigrette and a plate of fries, and even offered to make a soup. It was simple but genuinely delicious and very much appreciated. The beer on tap (Brasserie du Mont Blanc) was excellent. I seemed to be one of the only guests that night, as it was just after the winter season, and the whole village was very quiet. Despite that, the team were incredibly attentive. It almost felt like the whole place was being run just for me. The next morning, although I didn’t want breakfast, they kindly made me a coffee and offered fresh fruit to take with me for the trail, which was a really thoughtful touch for a long-distance hiker. Overall, a great experience: super friendly staff, reasonable prices, and a beautiful location with stunning views. I imagine it’s very different during the ski season given its proximity to the lifts, but in the off-season it’s a peaceful, welcoming place to rest and enjoy the surrounding mountain scenery. Would definitely recommend.

A pleasant stay at La Petite Chaumière. The new team took over after the previous owner's retirement. The result is excellent. The new owner emphasizes customer service and cleanliness. The prices are very reasonable. On the full-board basis, we appreciated the chef's work, with dishes that were always fresh, varied, and original. The hotel is just 50 meters from the slopes! For those who love peace and quiet and the stunning scenery of the Jura mountains, this is the perfect place. A very promising start; we wish them the best of luck!

Used only as a bar and restaurant (hence the lack of reviews for the rooms). The bar was decent and the meals were good and sufficiently generous, despite a bit of a wait. A good place to stop for a rest at the foot of the slopes.

We had a wonderful stay in this peaceful place, ideal for relaxing or coming with family, as there's plenty of space, including in the bedrooms. The baby gear and games were put to good use. The staff is attentive, and the mix of cheerful and serious personalities complements each other perfectly to ensure a successful stay; you feel truly welcome. The location at the foot of the slopes, with the "Ski et Montagne" shop opposite, is ideal. While the food is simpler than gourmet, the value for money is excellent, and we'll gladly return.

We went to the restaurant, the food was excellent, and the daily special was simply exceptional! Pluma pork with Comté cheese sauce... a real treat! Well done to the chef! 👏

A very good experience at this small resort, which deserves to be better known. The restaurant and rooms were adequate. The new owners deserve word of mouth 👂 because they are dedicated to improving tourism at their new establishment. The food is very good, both traditional and with a modern twist. All the staff are consistently very friendly.

A very pleasant little getaway. Sébastien and his team take excellent care of you. The rooms are impeccably clean, and the bedding is very comfortable. We promise we'll be back!
