02/08/2024: Today August 2 with a friend, our meal was excellent. The people who served us were very cheerful and pleasant. We had a free glass of champagne because soon they will be hosting in another area.. I live in Lyon but I will come back with pleasure.

08/09/2024: Very nice rediscovery of the restaurant. The setting is very pleasant, the interior has been completely redone. The boss and servers are top notch, very attentive (well done for your professionalism). As for the dishes, we opted for the menu at €31, it's very good value for money. Haddock ceviche as a starter, tropical sole/eggplant caviar and red fruit soup and pistachio mousse for dessert, perfect. We will come back without hesitation!

30/08/2024: Vriendelijke ontvangst. Vrolijke eigenaresse en haar man, de keukenprins. Personeel dat niet de hele tijd vraagt of alles goed gaat: ze zijn er precies op tijd. Alle tijd om met elkaar te converseren zonder gestoord te worden.Een sommelière die weet waar ze het over heeft. En dan het diner...woorden schieten te kort. Verfijnd, origineel, prachtige schakeringen van smaken, mooie presentatie. Een diner dat we niet snel zullen vergeten! Hotel strak en nieuw, goede bedden. We gaan zeker terug!

29/09/2024: So if you go to the Auberge du Coq 🐓 definitely don’t take the wine by the glass. One bottom and that’s it. When the boss brought it to me I told him “but you drank half of it on the way”. First time this has happened to me. Otherwise the dishes are good, the waitresses are friendly and helpful but the bill is hefty.

03/09/2024: Ferme Guichard is a really great restaurant in the French Jura. Although you have to drive a long distance over mountain passes, you are more than rewarded by the location and the food. The house exudes the rustic charm of an Alpine inn paired with excellent cuisine and a young, enthusiastic service team. The Meat was prepared in such a way that we could finish roasting it ourselves on a hot stone. Perfect timing in the kitchen and excellent quality of the meat (venison, lamb) are a prerequisite for this. There were also matching wines from the Haute Savoie region, a delicious dessert and we enjoyed a great evening on a warm summer night.

01/09/2024: Unacceptable! We attempted to make a reservation for a group of 25 people by calling the restaurant twice. Each time, we were told that, for this number of guests, we would have to go by email. So we sent an email as requested... and since then, radio silence. We have been waiting for a response for a month now. Luckily we didn't have to wait because we would have celebrated our birthday without any plans! If you are in a hurry or are keen on your events, it is best to look for another location.

01/12/2024: Delicious evening with family to celebrate my birthday. We took the trip with 4 stopovers and it was great taste discoveries accompanied by efficient and attentive service in a warm atmosphere.

26/09/2024: une auberge accueillante aux menus appétissants; l'aspect a changé mais la cuisine y est toujours bonne. Les seules choses qui ont évolué, ce sont les prix et la diminution des parts pour les convives. En effet, les prix des apéritifs sont un peu exagérés d'autant plus pour de simples kirs; le poulet de Bresse excellent était accompagné de quelques morilles, juste 3 ou 4 , mais , par contre, le plat choisi est facturé 5 euros de plus ( ce qui fait ce menu à 43,50 euros .....) . Les portions de poisson sont vraiment minimes même si l'accompagnement est délicieux. Bonne cuisine certes, mais prix quand même un peu trop élevés pour les portions mises dans l'assiette. Sinon, l'accueil est parfait tout comme le service. N'imaginez pas que nous soyons de gros mangeurs, loin de là, mais nous savons juger les vrais rapport qualité/prix: c'est là que la bât blesse à l'auberge car tout est restreint, jusqu'à la demi boule de glace accompagnant le dessert chocolaté ! bien cordialement quand même !
