La Pierre Chaude sur Chamrousse

We didn’t expect a lot but still left disappointed. First thing is that I came with 2 friends. There was 3 of us. One of my colleague didn’t feel like eating and he ordered just a beer (10 euro beer), I ordered fondue with other friend. We were informed that if we won’t other 3rd dish we will have to pay fee - 14 euro. So he did order fries - I can’t be sure but it looked and tasted like frozen one. I ordered hot chocolate, unfortunately it tasted like the one you get from 1 euro automat at train stations. Fondue was absolutely okey, not amazing, not bad - okey. This place is not horrible but if my friends were going to Chamrousse I’d not recommend to visit this one. When we were still eating the waiter came to us few times to ask if we finished already - we felt like he was trying to kick us out. We liked how the restaurant looks like inside!

We had a very good meal with our children. The waitress was very kind. The raclette was very good, although a bit pricey (€32 per person). We highly recommend it.

A pleasant but very small restaurant, which is a drawback but also gives it a cozy feel… Excellent food, pleasant waiter, the only downside was that plates were cleared while someone hadn't finished eating… "Homemade pastries" but the chocolate fondant was frozen… The only downside to the food. However, we recommend this restaurant!

We came for lunch; there were eight of us, including four children. The waiter was lovely, patient, and very attentive. 10/10 for him! We had a great meal; the meat on the hot stone was excellent, and the mushroom fondue was delicious! I highly recommend it.

We had a meal at this small, friendly restaurant in the resort. However, the quality, quantity, and price didn't live up to our expectations. I left the restaurant feeling unsatisfied after only one main course and one dessert. The menu was simple and featured traditional mountain cuisine. The service was quick and impeccable.

Fantastic experience at La Pierre Chaude! The raclette served with local charcuterie was excellent. Very professional service. Highly recommended.
