A very pleasant experience, immersing you directly in the tapas atmosphere; everything is there: the decor, the food, the cocktails, and even a guitarist... a truly wonderful place.

La Plancha became our local during our stay in Deauville - we went for drinks one evening and there was a good atmosphere in the bar but without being noisy. The second evening we went for tapas and although we hadn't booked, they were able to accommodate us outside - this was a cosy spot with heaters and sheltered from the wind. Staff were smiley, friendly, welcoming and excellent service where they just came along at the right points to check if we needed more drinks etc. The tapas were nice and the menu offered a good choice of options.

I used to go to La Plancha all the time with my family back then! I haven't been back in a long time, but every meal there brings back wonderful memories. The food: the tapas are without a doubt the best I've ever had (and there's a huge variety)! My best memory is that for dessert, they would give my sister whole bowls of whipped cream because she loved little pots of it! So you can imagine how incredibly kind the waiters are. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very cheerful and welcoming. If I'm not mistaken, they sometimes organize small concerts! Anyway, I highly recommend it!

28/04/2026: An absolutely wonderful lunch, enhanced by exquisite cuisine and a remarkably kind team.
27/04/2026: A superb evening at the restaurant, overlooking the sea with a magnificent sunset. The dishes were divine, showcasing French cuisine at its finest, along with the expertise of top restaurants (flambéing, preparing fish in front of us, etc.). The prices are justified by the quality of the service (especially from Valentin) and the cuisine. The restaurant manager, Valentin, sold us the menu with conviction and enthusiasm (I'm so glad to see that servers who love their job still exist!), offering excellent advice. Thank you so much! We will definitely return when we're back in Deauville, hoping to be able to request our wonderful server! Thank you to the chefs and servers for creating this truly special experience! Those who say the prices are high should just read the menu outside before coming in ;)
