La Poissonnerie sur Saint-Genis-Laval

I still love this fish shop (which I knew before the change of ownership). The staff are very friendly, and the products are fresh and high quality. I'm very happy with the family basket every two weeks: excellent value for money, and the recipe card helps us vary our meals! I highly recommend it!

Ordered a few dozen oysters for December 24th, accompanied by some whelks (whose cooking broth could have been a bit more aromatic) and some very nice Madagascar prawns. The welcome and wait were pleasant, thanks to a team working hard to keep up with the pace. The quality of the products was excellent, and a few minutes' wait certainly didn't spoil this first (and definitely not the last) experience... Well done to everyone, and keep up the good work for New Year's Eve!

We came for an unusual visit; Aurélien allowed us to come and draw the fish with our travel journal group. We received a very warm welcome and were able to witness Aurélien's professionalism while we were there and they were serving customers. It even made us want to do some shopping before heading home 😋
