A wonderful discovery! We were warned about a bit of a wait when we arrived around 8:30 pm. We took the opportunity to enjoy a bottle of local cider as an aperitif and play cards. As for the food, there was a very good variety for homemade dishes. Meatless options, fish, meat... there was something for everyone. And speaking of taste, it was delicious! I personally had the fish and the crispy prawns, and my partner, on recommendation, had the chicken roulade and the terrine. What a find! Everything was superbly seasoned, with more than enough portion to leave room for dessert, like the classic Norman tarte tatin we love. A big thank you for your warm welcome, your explanations, and your helpfulness despite the crowds. We wish you both continued success!

We had no complaints about our dinner at La Popote: tasty dishes (the fish was cooked to perfection and the veal sauce was to die for) served by a lady who was alone in the dining room but managed to ensure the service of the plates without ever making you feel neglected.

The menu is limited, but in my experience, this is a testament to the quality of the food. Excellent wine recommendations. The service was impeccable, with smiles, warmth, and a genuine appreciation for our humor. In short, a wonderful and intimate dining experience! I think it's best to make a reservation during peak season, just to be safe.
