A great discovery, very warm welcome, excellent cuisine, hearty dishes. I booked on a Friday evening, noting that I had a Smartbox gift voucher, the welcome was very pleasant, this is generally not the case everywhere. To try without hesitation!

An address to try. Far from the center, this small Indian restaurant is worth the detour. A pleasant welcome and quality cuisine.

Very good service, the meal was very good, and the staff was at our disposal, plus we were treated to a small cake for my birthday

We had dinner on a Saturday evening with friends, we had a great time, it was excellent, the discovery menu at €25 for lunch and dinner is very interesting. The welcome is warm, the service very good. We will come back!

We had come in tourist mode to discover Vannes and the local gastronomy... as a result we preferred to move away from the port and the tourist traps, by searching in the small adjacent streets we came across this restaurant, welcoming, top service and excellent meal. I thoroughly recommend

A very good Indian restaurant that I recommend if you are in Vannes. The food is excellent and the welcome is very warm.

We always try some Indian food wherever we find ourselves on our travels, and this restaurant was a short walk from our apartment so a natural choice. Although we were the only table, extremely friendly staff put us at ease, and the food was really tasty. Nan breads were good, which I think is a very important part of any Indian meal, and all three curries were nicely spiced. For UK pallets the heat was low - even the vindaloo was very mild - but taste wise it was great. Although a little walk away from the main centre of Vannes, I’d really recommend you give La Porte de l’Inde a try, especially if like us you were missing some Indian spice on your holiday!
