A wonderful discovery at La Petite Auberge!
We waited a little while, but honestly, it was well worth it: the dishes were carefully prepared, original, and delicious, with a true chef's signature style, and the prices were quite reasonable for the quality offered.
If you're in a hurry, the easiest thing to do is probably to book in advance to ensure faster service. But otherwise, take your time: it's truly worth discovering.
Camille and Thomas run a small, local restaurant that we wish we had more of in the area. I'll gladly return, and I would be truly sad to see a place of this quality disappear.
So if you haven't been yet, go and try it, form your own opinion… and support a local business that truly deserves it.

A real gem!
You immediately feel at home thanks to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food is flawless: high-quality, generous, and flavorful home-style cooking – you eat exceptionally well from start to finish.
A huge thank you to Camille for her attentive service and kindness in the dining room, and kudos to Thomas in the kitchen who delights with true chef's talent. A favorite spot that I wholeheartedly recommend – go without hesitation!

A truly wonderful place in Haubourdin! La Petite Auberge lives up to its name: you immediately feel right at home.
The food is delicious, generous, and affordable, made with excellent ingredients and that little extra touch that makes all the difference. But what makes this place truly special is the warm welcome from Camille and Thomas: passionate about what they do, friendly, attentive, and always happy to have guests.
The atmosphere is familial, convivial, and unpretentious, exactly the way we like it. It's the perfect spot for a lunch break or for taking the time to reconnect with family, friends, or colleagues.
An inn like this is the kind we wish we had more of: good, simple, welcoming, and genuine. A place to discover and, above all, to support! We will definitely be back.

A wonderful discovery! 😊
I had a Welsh rarebit and a Dame Rouge (vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce), and they were delicious. The atmosphere is really pleasant and the service is top-notch.
It's a small, family-run restaurant where you quickly feel at ease. The person who served us particularly touched me with their story and their connection to the restaurant. You can feel the real soul and a lot of heart behind this place ❤️
I also really liked the pricing system, which I found original and very well thought out.
A wonderful experience, both in terms of the food and the people. I highly recommend it!

Before giving my personal opinion, I sincerely encourage you to support this local eatery. This is the second time I've eaten at this type of establishment, and I assure you it's one of the gems where I've been able to enjoy Northern French cuisine.
Having religious beliefs, it's still difficult to find a place to eat Welsh rarebit, but it's possible to ask the kitchen about halal chicken. While it's not the traditional dish, it's close.
The products are local and, above all, homemade—a rare find that isn't emphasized enough. They experiment with different menus and adapt to their clientele.
The staff is meticulous and conscientious, and that deserves to be mentioned.
Given the difficulties the restaurant is facing, I strongly recommend that you give them strength, encouragement, and financial support.
PS: The trompe-l'œil is a great idea; keep up the good work! Don't give up!

A family-run, intimate bistro managed by a very energetic and positive couple who know their products inside and out, as everything is locally sourced and prepared on-site.
100% homemade at reasonable and affordable prices in a unique atmosphere with vinyl music that customers can change free of charge.
Northern French dishes, just the way we like them, and classic French cuisine, ranging from Welsh rarebit to carbonnade and chicken with Maroilles cheese, perfectly in keeping with the traditional bistro spirit, while also offering salmon and ribeye steak.
Vegetarian options are available for the entire menu, the chicken is halal, and intolerances and allergies are easily accommodated, which is greatly appreciated.
Open 7 days a week, and takeaway orders are also available (and I repeat, 100% homemade—something incredible these days).
The only slight drawback is that the restaurant is not air-conditioned during periods of intense heat.
Given the difficulties this type of small restaurant has faced in recent years, I hope this one can continue for many years to come.
If you're hesitant because of the cost: supporting a small business can easily mean popping in for a coffee and leaving a quick Google review 😉
