After four years in Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse, we finally discovered Brasserie La Queue de Cochon (Le Fontanil / Saint-Égrève). Excellent food and a warm welcome: we highly recommend it! Overall, a positive experience, but with a few details worth mentioning. Let's start with the positives: the food is generally good, the dishes are well-prepared, and the complimentary aperitif at the beginning of the meal is always a welcome touch. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the servers are generally friendly. Now for the little adventures. If you choose the terrace, be aware that you won't be alone: ​​the mosquitoes clearly consider this their favorite restaurant. I even think some were regulars, given how numerous they were. As for the fries… they must have had an urgent appointment, because they left the fryer well before they were fully cooked. It's a shame, because with a few more minutes, they would have complemented the dish much better. And then there's the service… The servers are polite and smiling, but you can clearly feel that they're trying to keep the tables turning over quickly. Barely has one plate been finished before you almost get the impression that a countdown has started. We came to enjoy a leisurely meal, not to participate in a speed race. All that was missing was a checkered flag to signal the end of the meal! Ultimately, it's a restaurant where the food is quite good, with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. However, between the mosquitoes that invite themselves onto the table, the fries that could have been cooked a little longer, and the somewhat hectic pace of the service, a few minor adjustments are needed to make the experience truly excellent.

I go there often at lunchtime for work and it's more than adequate. I don't know about the evenings.
