A lovely spot nestled among the salt marshes, with a friendly welcome. We enjoyed hot and cold oysters, whelks, shrimp, and mussels marinière. Everything was fresh and delicious. We'll definitely be back!

The secluded Rhétaise is a hidden gem for oyster lovers.
The young owners are incredibly dedicated and friendly, taking excellent care of their two- and four-legged guests. They offer and deliver top-notch quality from April to November.
I stumbled upon it by chance in 2023 and simply had to return in 2025 to experience the quality again. During my 12 days on the island, I visited three times and can wholeheartedly confirm that this is the place to go for oysters, mussels, and shrimp.
Well done, ladies, you're doing a fantastic job!
Keep it up! I'll be back!

We loved this place so much that we returned several times during our stay on Île de Ré.
We tried most of the items on the menu. Everything was delicious and, above all, excellent value for money.
Special mention goes to the oyster tartare and the oyster fritters.
