30/12/2025: We received a very warm welcome at this lovely little wine bar. The service was friendly and very efficient for our large table of eight; we didn't even have time to get thirsty! And we had a delicious meal to boot: excellent oysters, superb truffle ham, and good bread. It was well worth the trip.

13/10/2025: Welcomed with a smile by Arthur, the owner. A beautifully decorated room, expert advice, especially on wine, and cuisine featuring fresh, local produce. A warm, unmissable address in La Couarde, where you'll feel right at home.

09/08/2026: The oysters were good, but the service was lacking.

16/06/2026: After a bike ride 🚲 We stopped to buy some long oysters, €5 a dozen Very friendly welcome 👍 Excellent price 🔝 We didn't know about it... Yet, we've passed by it several times 😏 Highly recommended 😉

10/08/2026: We've been going to La Palmeraie for a while now with our friends from Lozère, who introduced us to this place. We love sitting at the high tables opposite the ice cream counter. The staff is truly fantastic, whether you're just having one or several drinks, and the prices are reasonable for the village. The owners are also very friendly. The food is excellent value for money; the salads are generous, the meat is superb, the tapas are also very good, and the desserts are equally excellent. In short, nothing but positive things to say about this place. If it had a sixth star, we would give it one! See you soon; we never go to the village without stopping by!

29/08/2026: Nice overall and appetizing (a bit pricey), but the manager was only moderately pleasant.

26/08/2026: Everything looked inviting until the owner arrived. There were five of us, the terrace was empty, the tables were tiny, so we simply pushed two tables together... What a mistake! We were sharply reprimanded for not touching the tables... I work in customer service, and I strongly advise this woman to find another job! We left immediately, but carefully put the table back in its place, which seems to be the establishment's priority...
