Ran across the place because we were annoyed at the prices at Cafe De Flore and Deux Magots. We were legitimately surprised at how reasonable the prices were (well, relative to Blvd St Germain prices), how non-touristy it was (not a word of English other than us), and how tasty the food was. The fritters and chickens wings as part of the Assiette (sampler) were excellent, as was my wife’s vegetarian bowl. My ti’ punch was on point and her cocktail was excellent. If you’re visiting and sick of French food, this was a delightful change of pace.

I knew this place when I was a student at the Sorbonne. I am 73 years old and I always come back with pleasure. Their menu is varied and their rums are tasty.

Very good West Indian restaurant, the acras and the rougail sausage were excellent (lack of spice for the rougail, remember to ask for spicy sauce).

J’ai toujours connu cette même terrasse-véranda sur le boulevard Saint Germain depuis le début des années 60,enfin j’y entre pour un très bon planteur,ainsi qu’un rougail saucisses comme à la Réunion.Accueil et service aimable.

En vadrouille dans le quartier un samedi ensoleillé, nous avons décidé de prendre un verre dans cet établissement au nom évocateur. Le staff est cool, la décoration exotique et les cocktails plutôt bons.

25/11/2024: Quiet dinner with light background music. Meals only with stacks. Recipe balanced in spicy not spicy except for the one with chorizo ​​which is ultimately more spicy than the beef. Lots of recipes revisited with a European taste. Very good dessert with chocolate stacks: the chocolate is hot and melting.
19/11/2024: Excellent discovery, well eaten, perfect value for money. I would happily return there when I return to Paris.
