La Risotteria sur Kingersheim

We honestly left shocked by how much better this dinner was compared to the “luxury” dining experience at our hotel. Tonight we ordered takeaway because we currently have a newborn baby and unfortunately cannot comfortably sit inside restaurants right now, but despite taking the food to go, the entire experience felt warm, personal and genuinely memorable. We ordered: - Insalata Di Pomodoro - Focaccia Sicilienne - Margherita Pizza - Bolognese Pasta - Funghi Risotto - Lasagne Maison - Fondant au Chocolat Everything was absolutely delicious. The tomato salad was incredible, even the way the tomatoes were cut looked beautiful and carefully prepared. The focaccia was insanely good, fresh, soft, flavorful and clearly made with care. The lasagna was rich and comforting, the bolognese tasted authentic and homemade, the mushroom risotto was creamy and satisfying, and the margherita pizza was honestly on a very high level with a truly delicious Neapolitan style. Simple, balanced and made properly. The portions were generous and satisfying. We left completely full with food still left over. What really made the experience special though was the kindness of the staff. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, including toward our huskies. One of the chefs even helped us carry the food and personally placed it on the front seat of the car for us. These small gestures genuinely mean a lot. An amazing experience from beginning to end. Thank you so much. If you are traveling in the area or living nearby, this place is absolutely worth the effort. I drove 20 minutes each way and it was completely worth it. High quality food, large portions and honestly half the price of what we would have paid at the hotel while barely leaving satisfied there.

Good value for money, it's a shame the service is so slow

A very warm welcome with quick and efficient service, not to mention an excellent lunch at a reasonable price. I highly recommend it, as I've returned several times since, including for dinner like tonight. The pleasure of sharing such a meal was unanimously appreciated by the four of us.

The food took a little while to arrive, even with the aperitif. The pizzas were generous with a good crust. We discovered a Spritz with violet. One small drawback: we were politely informed that they closed at 2:15 pm!

A truly excellent restaurant! The pizza dough and pizzas were superb... The risotto was perfect... The service was very pleasant! We had already heard good things about it and we will definitely return to try other dishes!

Absolutely great... an experience to repeat

2026 - Two years after my last visit, I was pleasantly surprised by the new team: shorter wait times, better service, and smiles. The portions are still generous but not as good, which is a shame. As for the parking, it remains the perennial weak point. 2024 - I'd been hearing about this place for years, and I finally had the chance to go, but it will be the last time… It all started with the reservation: a cold and unpleasant response on the phone. Then came the parking: tiny and inadequate for the size of the establishment. The welcome in the dining room was just as cold as the one on the phone; luckily, the employee there on vacation had a smile, which made up for her boss's grimace. After a long wait, the menus finally arrived; The price range is rather high and exaggerated considering the service and quality: over €15 for pasta carbonara with cream sauce is a rip-off for the trendy clientele who want to be seen there. Not only is the recipe not followed, but it's also overpriced for inexpensive ingredients! The pizzas are certainly large, but not very generously topped… They are nonetheless tasty, and certainly easier to digest than the pasta… After an interminable wait, we were finally able to order our desserts. Then came the bill: naturally, it was incorrect. In short, as you can see, from beginning to end, nothing was right at this establishment. Therefore, I can only advise you against going there.

I eat at this restaurant from time to time. The staff is very friendly. The food is good. I recommend the risotto 😁 The atmosphere is family-oriented. The prices are reasonable. I recommend this restaurant. See you soon.
