A nice little restaurant in the city center

Highly recommend. Extensive menu. A lovely warm welcome with brilliant service. Great atmosphere. There was a great value menu du jour available. We ordered a pizza and calzone, which were delicious and amazing value. Great coffee too. We sat inside, but there are tables outside in the quiet square too. We'd definitely recommend La Rome Antique. 23/4/26. Revisited and again had delicious pizzas at a good price. Highly recommend.

The food was simple, but good, especially considering the price. The lady who served us couldn't manage a smile. Yes, we stammered in French. I know I can do better, but switching from Portuguese always takes a bit of adjusting. The place was a neat snack bar with unappealing decor. Good for a quick bite, but not for a night out.

Small, welcoming restaurant. Excellent and quite generous portions. Special mention to the energetic young pizza chef. 🙂
