La Scene sur Nancy

My first experience at a Michelin-starred restaurant, La Scène Thélème, was a wonderful experience, rich in flavors, tastes, and unusual ingredients, such as chicharron, pigeon, and pollack. I enjoyed the four-course meal, without wine pairings. Only the complimentary petits fours did my palate fall short, but that's purely a personal preference: I have a deep-seated dislike for dark chocolate, and one of them was entirely made of it. This is purely a matter of personal taste. The overall experience was more than pleasant. The ambiance, the service, and the attention to detail in the presentation of the dishes were all excellent (which is to be expected, given its Michelin star, but I'll mention it nonetheless). It was delicious, and I will definitely return.

A pleasant experience at La Scène Theleme. The dishes we tasted were both aesthetically pleasing and delicious. We had the pleasure of trying pigeon, a dish not commonly found elsewhere, cooked to perfection and perfectly complementing the restaurant's ambiance and decor. However, there was a slight drawback: a touch of creativity in the technique was lacking to truly distinguish it from other Michelin-starred restaurants. The use of gelatin sheets was a recurring technique, as was the sorbet, which appeared several times. Although, I must admit, the red chili sorbet was quite impressive. Overall, it was a good experience, but I think La Scène Theleme has room to improve and offer more surprises and a fresh perspective to its dishes.

It's very good and the service is excellent. However, the decor is cold and could use a refresh.

A gift from our son. What a wonderful surprise! This meal was an exceptional discovery and a delight from beginning to end. Exquisite craftsmanship, an explosion of flavors, and a presentation worthy of a painting. The service was impeccable and pleasant.

Unique and sophisticated cuisine served in an elegant setting. A huge thank you to the chefs who brilliantly adapted my three-course menu to accommodate my dietary restrictions. As for the service, despite the slightly condescending welcome from the manager who seated me, the waitress was extremely pleasant and attentive. I will definitely be back.

We are still delighted by this seasonal cuisine, inventive and full of flavor. It meets our expectations. Although we aren't big pastry fans, the pastries are surprisingly delicious and not too sweet. On top of that, the service is excellent.

Subtlety and delicacy, both in the flavors and the presentation. Lobster, pigeon, red mullet: high-quality ingredients, expertly prepared and perfectly complemented. Light and refreshing desserts to finish, all in a refined atmosphere with attentive service: a flawless dinner! Thank you to the entire team, both front and back of house.

The decor is superb, and the service is excellent. The bread, supplied by a Meilleur Ouvrier de France (Best Craftsman of France), is divine; this restaurant truly deserves its Michelin star. I highly recommend it.

Excellent discovery!! The service is very efficient, the waiters and waitresses are very friendly, and the food is excellent! Whether it was the white asparagus, the turbot, the stuffed morel, or the lamb, everything was excellent!!
