La Smeralda sur Le Creusot

We arrived around 7:30 pm; the waitress told us that since they were on vacation the next day, the chef was only making pizzas. We accepted without hesitation. The pizzas were good, and we were able to take our time enjoying them. The only thing is, the young man we asked for a carafe of water should bring it to us and be a little more friendly. It wasn't too crowded, though. Only the tables outside were occupied, and there were still a few free.

For me, the best pizzeria in the area. A very warm welcome, and the food is excellent. Try their gourmet coffee; you won't find anything like it anywhere else 😃 The owners are hilarious and incredibly kind. Remember to book ahead; they're always full 😉 A must-try

I'm a regular at this restaurant; the service is usually quite fast and the quality is always there. Except this lunchtime, the young waitress spilled all my coffee on my trousers. A bit rushed to find a change before heading back to work, the owner was in no hurry to take my payment, offered a half-hearted apology after five minutes for the ruined trousers, and then, in a burst of kindness, offered me the €2 coffee I hadn't had time to drink. In short, customer service isn't exactly their strong point. It's a shame because the other ingredients are there. Luckily, you don't have any competition in Le Creusot.

Friendly staff, good and generous portions, you won't find better in Le Creusot.

Very good pizzeria very close to the Château de la Verrerie

It's a shame we didn't have time for an aperitif before dinner… we didn't have a train to catch on a Saturday at 9 pm… That said, the rum is very good.

A wonderful experience, I highly recommend it, go for it, you won't regret it!

Great place! La Smeralda is one of the best restaurants in Le Creusot, and I've been going there with pleasure for years. The staff is friendly, and the menu is extensive. The dishes are all excellent, especially the pizzas. However, I must admit that I find the selection a bit limited and the prices a little high 😧. Nevertheless, I would gladly return. Thank you for your work.

Pleasant place, choice of dining room, veranda, or terrace. Good menu selection. Excellent pizza! Too bad it's closed on Sundays.
