23/08/2024: I tested the complete formula with hot drink, juice, pastries or toast, scrambled eggs and bottle of mineral water (??) for €16.90. I was a little surprised by the presence of mineral water in the formula (evian). Used to breakfast options, first time seeing this, but why not… This week, I'm testing all the breakfast options on rue Bonaparte. To begin with, the service is friendly (at the beginning anyway) and fast. The juice (bottle) is served in a small pastis glass with 3 ice cubes, which means there isn't much. But especially the scrambled eggs, I didn't like it at all. They were diluted in a liquid that remained at the bottom of the bowl (like water). Not at all appetizing. I pointed this out to the manager. He just told me (without checking) that it had always been done like that and cut the discussion short by saying thank you, goodbye... not very constructive... it's a shame not to want to talk improve when you are in the restaurant business. In conclusion, for breakfast, this is not the place to go despite the very nice setting (terrace in the shade in the morning during the summer) and definitely don't get the scrambled eggs. Very poor value for money. We probably pay more for the setting than the content. In the neighborhood or even on the same sidewalk further, there are much better breakfast options for similar prices. Damage.
