A simple yet efficient restaurant serving delicious home-style cooking made with local ingredients. It's the perfect place to fuel up before climbing Mont Gerbier-de-Jonc (1500m), the highest peak in the Massif Central, located in the Ardèche (07).
This is also where you'll find the geographical source of the Loire, the longest river in France. I highly recommend this restaurant for its efficient and prompt service.

Excellent service and delicious ice cream! The portion was generous, fresh, and truly refreshing after our hike up Mont Gerbier-de-Jonc.
And a quick drink right next door, at the very source of the Loire River. A simple, pleasant, and perfect break in a magnificent setting!

A multi-faceted establishment located at the foot of Mont Gerbier and the local market. Bar and restaurant with a terrace. Shop selling local products, various items, and souvenirs. However, be aware of the table service. They forgot to bring water for ice cream. A spoon was missing, and the cake on top of the ice cream was missing.

After cycling up the mountain pass, I was planning to take my break here, but I arrived too early! The owner still served me 45 minutes before opening time with whatever he had ready: coffee, bread, and a chestnut cream croissant. Thank you!

A good compromise, an incredible view, quiet and friendly. The food was good, nothing more. The service was adequate; the only downside was that the tables weren't cleaned between customers after being cleared, which was a shame. But otherwise, we had a good time.
