When the sun shines in Clermont-Ferrand... Wandering the streets, I stumbled upon Bistrot Honoré... a charming terrace... an equally inviting menu... let's give it a try... A warm welcome... a packed terrace... We sampled the specialties... the rare beef... excellent! The rareness is unmistakable... perfectly cooked meat that melts in your mouth... drizzled with shallot butter... simply superb! We teased about the authenticity of the profiteroles... a winning bet, they were fresh and generous... A waitress, new to the job, but whose smile and kindness were touching... a manager who flitted between the tables, checking on each guest to make sure everything was alright... a kind word, a cheerful outburst... making you feel special... What can I say... Bistrot Honoré is a touch of southern warmth amidst the black stone of Clermont

Very, very friendly staff, extremely delicious and beautifully presented food, especially for the price. The penne au bleu d'Auvergne and the chicken leg with fries were truly delicious.
