A restaurant to try and become a fan of. Always a very warm welcome, delicious food... A real pleasure every time.

A lovely setting in an unusual building, beautifully presented dishes, excellent taste, and service that was both professional and relaxed. For our romantic dinner, we opted for the surprise menu with wine pairings and were not disappointed. We will be back.

A wonderful discovery, the setting is superb! Impeccable service, very friendly waiter, excellent cuisine, the beef tartare is to die for, as are the fresh scallops and the risotto!!! Bravo 👍👏

We had the surprise menu (€38) and it was delicious. A feast for the eyes and the palate. The setting is magnificent, in a castle. The dining room is stone, with vaulted walls. We will definitely be back! 😀

First of all, I’m not sure I have enough words to describe how amazing our experience was at La Table de Fred in Issenheim. We picked the “Surprise du Chef” from the menu, and what a great choice it was! We received four amazing dishes, each one more delicious than the last. The experience started with the help of our waiter in choosing the right wine. We wanted to try something local, and his recommendation for a white wine was an amazing local Riesling. For the red, he explained that the Pinot Noir they had was a bit too strong and recommended another one — his personal favorite from South Africa. It was spot on! The four courses were so delicious that I finished every last bite. What impressed us even more was that not only were the main parts of the dishes fantastic, but the accompanying ingredients were also incredibly tasty and carefully prepared. For example, the tuna was served with a fresh salad combining different flavors perfectly, while the duck came with perfectly cooked risotto. And the “Surprise du Chef” was a truly delicious French cuisine experience. Bottom line: an unforgettable experience. Excellent food, great wine recommendations, and wonderful service. Definitely a place we will remember!
