La Table de l'Helvie sur Valvigneres

We had lunch there today and were pleasantly surprised by this inn. The menu was varied and very good, the owner was very kind and attentive to his customers, and the food was excellent. We will definitely return with our children. I highly recommend this place; the dining room is beautiful and tastefully decorated. Go without hesitation, you won't be disappointed. As a true epicurean, I give it a 10/10! 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋

Having come for lunch as a family, we were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. A very warm welcome, helpful and smiling staff, attentive to their customers' needs. Small appetizers and biscuits were offered while we waited for our courses, a lovely and thoughtful touch. A complimentary digestif was also offered at the end of the meal. The dishes were very good and generous. The staff is accommodating if you have any special requests in the kitchen. The setting is charming in the small village, with delightful decor in the restaurant. Everything was perfect; we had a wonderful time. We will return and recommend this restaurant to others. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Beautiful location, lovely terrace, warm welcome. But a big party in the square... hardly romantic 🙄😁 Aperitif? Very, very light pastis. Amuse-bouche: a delight with pea hummus 😊 Main course: excellent beef tartare. Well cut, delicate and well seasoned, with extra fries. The wine? Ah, the wine... First glass: opaque white wine. Unpleasant on the palate, seemed corked, even sparkling... Back. Another glass "freshly opened bottle": no better. We had asked for a Vionnier, which is a slightly honeyed, even sweet, category of wine, "a local wine from Alba." We didn't appreciate it, which didn't please the owner, who let us know (she wasn't happy, and told us we didn't know anything about it! Tastes and colors..... And in the end, we opted for a Côtes du Rhône, by the glass again, and there, the wine was too young, very typical given the tears and the legs, and harsh on the palate. Thank you very much. Next time, if there is a next time, it will be a bottle with a label, a sure bet! The water? A delight 😋 (and the three ✴️ are for the chef, the owner, and the setting).

August 26, 2025 A very popular meal, except perhaps for the La Mamamia pizza at €17.50, which was missing the Stracciatella and Pistachio Chips, but was still priced at €17.50. The staff is friendly and the shaded terrace is very pleasant.

Great service, the food is delicious, and the staff is very friendly. A great atmosphere is guaranteed. The products are local and of high quality. I highly recommend it!

We had dinner there at 12...no waiting, all the dishes arrived at the same time. Very good quality of the dishes!
