Excellent restaurant, top service and cuisine

Delicious meal. the dish of the day. The duck breast accompanied by mashed potatoes was a real treat for my taste buds. The foie gras accompanied by its chetney was also delicious. The apple pie was killer. The staff is very friendly, smiling and attentive to their customers. My most sincere compliments to the cook.

Comfortable restaurant, but the quality of the cuisine was disappointing, especially given the fairly high prices.

It's been around ten years since we last returned to this restaurant which was a benchmark for us. Well, I think we'll come back to it more...my partner ate well but I was left hungry. First time I come out of a restaurant hungry... For him entrecôte... Me, undecided, and wanting a fairly plant-based meal (I'm neither vegan nor vegetarian), I let myself be tempted by the vegetable terrine as a starter with fennel vinaigrette (I like fennel, yes), and as a main course, the poke bowl (which is specified on the menu, according to the chef's inspiration)... My starter arrives....no fennel, no terrine...I call the waiter back (adorable staff, I should add), I tell him that there must be a mistake, there is no fennel, no terrine.. .. My plate goes back to the kitchen and they come back to me to explain that it's the chef's version of the terrine, 3/4 pieces of cooked vegetables hidden under a salad leaf... they ask me if I still want it my dish, or something else instead, I answer no thank you. I ask if the poke bolw ordered is indeed a dish, to be sure....I am told yes.... Our dishes arrive, my partner, well served, nice piece of meat, ratatouille new potato (and strangely my partner like me notices that certain pieces of the ratatouille resemble my famous vegetable terrine...we deduce that the vegetable terrine is ratatouille)... On the other hand, my poke bowl is just mixed greens, grated carrot, sliced ​​radishes, sliced ​​mushrooms, and still some bean sprouts...how can I put it...I think the chef needs escape, vacation, travel.....he is lacking inspiration, and needs to go and discover a real poke bowl....because my dish was a simple plate of raw vegetables which could be a starter but in no case a dish..... Fortunately the chocolate fondant raised the note.....

Very very good, Wow 😋, very good service, simple and fine meal, the setting is also typical, the price for the quality and the service is rather low I find.. really a good restaurant in Haut-Rhin
