La Table du Bois Joli sur Saint-Imoges

We spontaneously decided to have dinner in this house while passing through. We got a table without a reservation and were also allowed to take our dog with us. The attentive waiter gave us a quiet seat. Thank you for a lovely evening with an excellent menu and attentive hosts.

On the way back to Belgium, we stopped at Bois Joli. In the middle of the woods, along a national road. From the outside it looks rustic but once inside a culinary world opens up to you. Delicious service and food.

Nice atmosphere and good food to enjoy and taste wines and champagne together, even for families with children looking for a chance to experience an evening out in style!

We came with my family and we had a great time, the welcome was warm, the decor was cocooning. The food was just excellent, not to mention the truffle ravioli, with excellent quality truffles. The staff took great care of us! I invite you to go there with your eyes closed. We will come back!

We appreciated the quality of the food. Unfortunately we came on a public holiday weekend and the choice was very limited which we completely understand. Very long wait before the starter arrived otherwise nothing to say about the dishes. Perfect 😋

Very tasty menu! Sitting comfortably

Restaurant easy to find on the side of the road, easy to park. Nice room but we ate on the terrace due to the good weather. Covered terrace, pleasant with subdued light. Perfect welcome and service. The meal progress is a little slow but we are warned on the menu. The dishes are delicious, perfectly executed with quality ingredients. The price is in line with the quality.

Fabulous, so good it is almost impossible to choose a favourite mouthful, and that goes for all five of us. The set menu, 3 exceptional courses is €59, so you expect the food to be special and it is. To start my Eiffel Tower of Fresh Melon, raspberry and Burrata, topped with tasty jambon cru was mouthwatering. I admit to a tiny bit of envy over my wife’s choice of crab in Chou buns, wow! My steak was perfectly cooked and creatively garnished and the fish in a rich saffron infused sauce really teased the tastebuds. The excellent lady of the house, a warm and friendly lady, offered cheese in lieu of a delightful strawberry fest and I took the chance. Five perfectly prepared slices of contrasting local cheese, is there anything better. The wine list offers something for all tastes and pockets. Going for Champagne throughout was not my worst decision! What a wonderful evening in a well appointed dining room. Merci beaucoup.

Nous sommes arrivés à midi avec mon mari la commande a été prise de suite par une équipe sympathique L entrée au bout de 30 minutes et le plat ( ravioles ) juste à faire pocher et ajouter la sauce 45 minutes L équipe a été débordé dommage car les plats étaient plutôt bons Mauvaise organisation
