We received a very warm welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed the Kemia appetizer platter, which was very generous with a variety of delicious snacks. The couscous and tagine were also excellent. My only minor criticism is that the Casablanca Dream cocktail could have used a touch more rum. This wasn't our first visit, and it certainly won't be our last.

A Saintes institution. The menu is a bit pricey, but the delicious food, excellent service, and very pleasant setting mean you won't leave a single bite on your plate. I highly recommend it.

The setting is lovely on the banks of the Charente River, however, it's a shame the basic plastic furniture somewhat spoils the oriental ambiance. The service was impolite and very slow, but that's to be expected. While we came for the setting and the quality of the food, we are now disappointed. The portions, especially the meat in the couscous, are too small, and the brik pastries are too greasy. The food is less flavorful, which is a shame.
