We were recommended by the baker who delivers his bread, and we thank him sincerely.

01/08/2026: We dined at this restaurant and were unfortunately very disappointed.
The table service was fine; the waitress was smiling and pleasant.
However, the two duck breasts were very tough, and one of them wasn't cooked properly. We barely ate half of it. At €27 per duck breast, we expected much better! Not to mention the tasteless frozen fries.
And when we pointed all this out at the checkout, there was no attempt at compensation. The value for money is very poor. We won't be back!

31/07/2026: Great restaurant where all the dishes are homemade, with a particular favorite being the beef tartare, which is excellent.
And always a very warm welcome.
A lovely spot where it's pleasant to have lunch on the terrace in winter or in the shade of the large tree in summer.
Reservations recommended.

09/07/2026: While visiting Saintes with my family, we ate at the new owners' restaurant.
The pizzas are excellent, everything is homemade and you can tell. To top it all off, the desserts are also excellent. I highly recommend it.
