A great visit, we really enjoyed this summary of the living history of Alsace. And how surprised she was to see these life scenes thanks to the extras! Plan the day there because there is so much to do and discover

We visited the park today and had a great experience. Buying the ticket in advance was super easy and quick. When we arrived, there were a bunch of people but since the park is quite big you are able to avoid the crowds. The staff at the entrance and the shop spoke English and was really friendly. The park was designed very authentic and we really appreciated all the effort and detailed work that went into rebuilding the houses. I guess for children it can be quite a lot but our group of adults found the information that was provided very interesting. There were animals as well as actors. We didn't go to see the animations tho but spend roughly 4h there. Thank you for the great experience and that we were allowed to bring our dog with us! We definitely will recommend this park to others :)

Just awesome !! A place that allows you to travel back in time! So informative and very well organized! The presence of storks nesting on the roofs of these old Alsatian houses gives this place a particular charm. I can't wait to enjoy this beautiful open-air museum again!

I had a good time there during the War Memoirs. This period Alsatian village museum is pleasant. The size of the site and the diversity of the “rebuilt” houses is impressive. We see an incredible heritage there. Moreover, I really enjoyed visiting the interior of a good number of its houses: those belonging to a working-class, Jewish, Protestant or Catholic family with their farm... The staff and volunteers are friendly and diligent, as are their costumes. The lunch break at the Écomusée bakery was a pleasure. To enrich our day, interesting and informative guided tours, activities and demonstrations are organized: the discovery of trades of yesteryear, Alsatian architecture, farm animals, botanical walks, rafts... In this September 24, 2022, there were also significant historical reenactments of the 39-45 war in Alsace: Battles, patrols and living conditions in the camps. The tractor ride (45 min) is not only entertaining, you see and learn more. It's all the more pleasant when time is limited. (additional 1 euro) It's just a shame that some activities are only organized once or twice and/or only during the morning. We take a little journey through time, we discover and we learn... while having fun!

Nice, all the old trades are represented there. The Alsatian houses are magnificent. It's a real return to the past. The tavern is expensive and noisy, however, especially when our dear German neighbors, who give their children no limits, arrive. What a lack of knowing how to live!

We got the dates wrong for the performances. So we preferred The Village Party"

Magnificent reconstituted village of yesteryear...Time stands still...flowered park, path for walks...everything is designed to disconnect. A must if you are in Alsace and love nature.

Always so nice to spend time there ! Great for kids and pure disconnection
