I listened to the Google reviews and I wasn't disappointed! A wonderful welcome from attentive staff who immediately made us feel at ease. The complimentary pâté was a big hit with the whole family (6 people). From appetizer to dessert, we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal and loved every dish! Everything was truly delicious. Congratulations to the chef! If we're ever back in the area, we'll definitely return to this restaurant!

A delightful restaurant in Authuille! The owner was very cheerful and pleasant, a great conversationalist! He served me a wine that I loved, even though I know nothing about wine... somewhere between sweet and dry, but not too syrupy and not too dry! I was very satisfied, and I especially enjoyed the cider! Very smooth, nice and sweet, almost more like apple juice than cider, truly excellent! We started with a beautiful slice of pâté with bread, classic and delicious. It didn't last long! The foie gras is a must for me, and it was perfect with our regional pound cake! The slices of duck breast, of course, left me wanting more. I had the pike-perch fillet with a delicious sauce, which I ordered separately, and it was a real treat; it perfectly complemented such a delicate fish. The vegetables were very good, a perfect accompaniment to this light dish with a crispy puff pastry and a fragrant waffle! We had some excellent cheeses, including the Petit Roux, a cheese somewhat similar to Maroilles but firmer with a lovely russet color. Maroilles fermier, of course, and a third one. Really delicious, and of course... the crème brûlée! A perfectly crisp caramel without being hard, a custard underneath that wasn't too cold, just a touch firm for my taste, but a good egg custard with the toasted caramel! A little cloud! A special touch was the strawberry garnish. In fact, all the strawberries we tasted during the meal were delicious; I was so glad it was strawberry season! And that cream, so dense and thick, went so well with them! I'd love to have some in my fridge! We had a wonderful time, and we were able to park very close by. There are lots of lovely paintings in the restaurant! Plus, it's set back a bit from the road in its verdant setting (I'm saying that to sound professional! 🤭 I love trees!). Anyway, I recommend it if you're passing through Authuile, whether for a short drive or a bike ride. There are beautiful flower gardens, and you might even spot a peacock while strolling! 🥰

An unusual place, just like the owner who is incredibly kind. He explains each dish. Very helpful and attentive...and not shy about having a good laugh...I highly recommend it.

A very good experience at this rustic restaurant. The welcome was warm, the dishes were excellent and generous. The owner enjoyed describing the dishes and telling us about local produce. We will be back!
