La Taverne Du Jocou sur Lus-La-Croix-Haute

Great! We stopped for a meal, the waiter was super friendly, the food was delicious, the pizza too, the burgers were very generous, a very good, simple and efficient place!

Absolutely fantastic. A warm welcome, we had a wonderful meal!

The welcome was very friendly, however, there was a HUGE problem with the pizza. It wasn't homemade. We didn't see any Reblochon cheese, it had an acidic taste, and the dough was made with baking powder (sodium bicarbonate), so it was industrially produced. It didn't rise, was extremely thin, and hard. We were told that the dough was indeed made next door! The owner only charged us for one out of every two pizzas, after we (as cooks) pointed it out, as a gesture of goodwill. This should be clearly stated on the menu.

Very friendly, family-run, excellent food, and super nice to our dog. A great time!

Excellent service. We stopped for a break on our journey and were greeted warmly and helpfully. We highly recommend it!

This Sunday at 11:30 am, we stopped for a coffee break on the road. The very friendly lady opened early to let us in. I even got to try the "team break" deal with coffee and dessert for €7.50. We'll definitely keep this address in mind for the return trip.

A nice break on the holiday route

A very good little pizzeria. We stopped there around 3 pm and were able to order pizzas. We opted for the kebab, which was quite good, followed by crepes for dessert. Very satisfied with our meal during our journey.

We came for takeout dinner, and thank you for allowing us to also take away the salad. We ordered a fresh goat cheese salad for €17 and a country-style pizza for €16. We understand that this is a restaurant with a quick service and that not everything can be made from scratch, but the prices seemed high for what we got. The Reblochon cheese in the pizza was also barely noticeable. Nevertheless, the service was very pleasant.

We have just had a great pit stop at this restaurant on our way to the alps. Service was excellent and food was great! Thank you
