We ate lunch today at La Taverne Rustique. The restaurant is indeed very rustic, it lives up to its name. However, we received a very warm welcome and the food was excellent. The portions were very generous and the frogs' legs were superb. The prices were very reasonable and the owner even offered us coffee. We highly recommend this restaurant. The only downside was that the dining room was very noisy; our neighbors at the next table were talking very, very loudly!

Very good, the waitress and the owner were quite friendly. The food was decent for a reasonable price. The main negative points were the neighbors at the next table, who were too close together, making it noisy and difficult to talk, and the extremely long wait (February 13, 2026). On my previous visit, the wait was acceptable. If I had to give it a rating, it would be 7 out of 10.

It's always a pleasure to return to La Taverne Rustique. The menus offer unbeatable value for money, featuring fresh, local produce. They also have excellent wines and delicious homemade desserts! The setting is lovely, both inside and out (the restaurant is nestled in the charming village of Saint Chef, with its rich heritage). The service is top-notch! Don't hesitate, I highly recommend it – you won't be disappointed! 😋🤩

Nine years later, I went back and everything was just as it had been, nothing had changed. The food was delicious, the place unique, the staff pleasant. Monique, with her notes in hand, made us happy to return, but without leaving so much time!!
