Nine years later, I went back and everything was just as it had been, nothing had changed. The food was delicious, the place unique, the staff pleasant. Monique, with her notes in hand, made us happy to return, but without leaving so much time!!

It's always a pleasure to return to La Taverne Rustique. The menus offer unbeatable value for money, featuring fresh, local produce. They also have excellent wines and delicious homemade desserts! The setting is lovely, both inside and out (the restaurant is nestled in the charming village of Saint Chef, with its rich heritage). The service is top-notch! Don't hesitate, I highly recommend it – you won't be disappointed! 😋🤩

I had a wonderful time. We had a set menu with salad, frog legs, and dessert; it was absolutely delicious, we thoroughly enjoyed it. We'll definitely be back.

The rustic tavern is an institution.
I've even heard about it in Savoy... that says it all!
Yes, the service can sometimes be very, even too, slow, but the food is delicious, the welcome is warm, and you always leave with a full stomach and a big smile.
All those meals spent enjoying yourself both on the terrace and inside. Great encounters, truly fantastic meals, and a rural setting that never fails to charm me.

Came to eat with family.. card received to order the meal almost 1 hour after our arrival.. after 1 hour 45 minutes of waiting here are the dishes arrived with our surprise a dead spider... hygiene remains to be seen... not even a small gesture for what happened or anything.. too bad...

What is a shame is the wait and last Sunday the welcome was a bit unusual we did not have a very good time not having much time to let us choose the place. given the location..we waited a long time when they receive a group should reduce the clientele...because arrive 12:30 p.m. leave 3:30 p.m....shame because the hostel is nice pretty setting hoping that the next one will be better...
