It's always a pleasure to return to La Taverne Rustique. The menus offer unbeatable value for money, featuring fresh, local produce. They also have excellent wines and delicious homemade desserts! The setting is lovely, both inside and out (the restaurant is nestled in the charming village of Saint Chef, with its rich heritage). The service is top-notch! Don't hesitate, I highly recommend it – you won't be disappointed! 😋🤩

A wonderful discovery and beautifully prepared dishes. Everything was delicious. The service is very professional, and it's a place where you can take your time and enjoy a leisurely meal. Inside, the noise level can be quite high, especially when there are groups. We asked if we could eat outside and were lucky enough to get a table. We were able to enjoy a table outside under the trees, which was very pleasant.

We ate lunch today at La Taverne Rustique. The restaurant is indeed very rustic, it lives up to its name. However, we received a very warm welcome and the food was excellent. The portions were very generous and the frogs' legs were superb. The prices were very reasonable and the owner even offered us coffee. We highly recommend this restaurant. The only downside was that the dining room was very noisy; our neighbors at the next table were talking very, very loudly!

16/04/2026: A very nice family-run restaurant. The food is homemade. Set menu: starter, main course, dessert €18. I recommend it.
15/02/2026: Excellent restaurant, a very friendly waitress, truly nothing to complain about, with very reasonable prices. I recommend it without reservation. It's worth adding that we weren't seated a meter away from our neighbor, unlike some other restaurants... We also had lunch there for Valentine's Day, and we had absolutely no complaints, especially considering the very affordable price.
