La Terrasse sur Ile-D'Arz

A little corner of paradise accessible in 25 minutes by boat bus from the Vannes ferry terminal. I advise you to arrive early and walk rather than cycle if you can because the coastal path is closed to cycling and you would miss some truly magnificent landscapes and corners. I was very pleasantly surprised this Sunday morning to come across very few hikers. It must get bad in the afternoon and I can't imagine it being in high season. A real gem in any case. It would be a shame not to stop there.

Magnificent island still preserved from too much modernization. Few cars, bicycles are available upon arrival at the pier. Small downside is the lack of a sign to find the places on the small map that we give when purchasing tickets for the crossing. Plan 1 hour in advance of the departure time if you come on a public holiday or school holidays so as not to find yourself with an endless queue 😋visited in May 2024 with great sunny weather 🥰
