Very nice for a hike around the island but some paths have disappeared or are not indicated... maybe another hike around the island with a passage through the village would be good....and also a small ice cream stand in addition to the restaurant at the port while waiting for the shuttles would be good....otherwise very good walk of about 16km👍

Beautiful scenery, a first, and I'm not disappointed.
Magnificent, I highly recommend it.

The Isle of Arz is a peaceful, natural island in the heart of the Gulf of Morbihan. Smaller than neighboring Île-aux-Moines, it also has less relief. We reached it by taking the Passeur des Îles, departing from Port Navalo, which dropped us off at the northern tip of the island.
The island is easy to explore on foot or by bike. It offers beautiful walks along its coastal paths, with small beaches, views of the oyster beds, and natural areas for birdwatching.
The Berno Tide Mill is a must-see, both for learning about the island's history and for admiring the superb landscape created by its large seawall.
The village is nestled around its small church. It also houses the Mariners & Captains Museum, dedicated to maritime life of yesteryear and the history of the island.

Very pleasant island, calm, superb walk. Small downside: the routes are not always well marked and sections of the coastal path are not always well maintained (overflowing brambles for at least half the way). Beautiful island to do on foot and return to do it by bike on other paths

A small island in the Gulf of Morbihan, easily accessible by the water buses that run regularly in August. We were lucky enough to enjoy beautiful weather, which greatly enhanced our experience.
The island is touristy without being crowded: the days are lively without being hectic, and the evenings are even more pleasant once most of the visitors have left. There's no bling here, but beaches with plenty of space, bike rides, and a café overlooking the sea. In short, it's an invitation to calm down.
One word to sum it up: serenity.

A lovely little island to visit for a hiking/biking activity.
Be careful, though, the coastal paths are not accessible to bicycles.
Cyclists therefore have very limited access to the most beautiful spots with views of the Gulf.
The hike is far too long on foot for young children.
A stroller is definitely not a good idea (for those who would like to try it, I wish you lots of courage).
A good compromise for a family is to rent bikes.
(The rates are cheaper for bike rentals than bringing your own bike).
Remember to book a restaurant before going there; unfortunately, we weren't lucky enough to have lunch today...
A packed picnic is a great compromise just in case...
For me, the must-see on this island is the Peninsula.
It's wild and really pleasant.
The flora and fauna are really great on this side.
I live in Vannes, and I thought tourism would be a little less prevalent on the island than in Vannes itself.
I was very wrong.
I strongly advise against going there during the high season.
The roads are impassable due to the sheer number of tourists on foot.
It wasn't at all pleasant because no one moved aside to let cyclists and vehicles pass.
But that... That's a whole other topic.
See you soon on the Isle of Arz (except during the summer holidays)

A very authentic and peaceful island. An ideal vacation destination. Make sure you have cash with you before you go.
The bus doesn't accept credit cards if you're tempted to take it.

Beautiful island, simpler and more peaceful than its neighbor, the Isle of Monks.

We had a wonderful day on this island. Leaving from Locmariaquer by boat, we were able to enjoy the beauty of the Gulf of Morbihan. On the island, we hiked the entire 17km loop. The scenery is stunning, making it a truly memorable day. There are few cars on the island, which allows you to appreciate the peace and quiet. The trail markers aren't always visible.
