Had a wonderful meal in this little restaurant in the centre of Bordeaux. The menu is limited but everything they cook is delicious. Baked cheese with duck and gazpacho to start, duck breast and salmon for mains, and creme bruke and lemon curd to finish. The wine was also excellent. Service was very friendly and they spoke English which was handy. Highly recommended this lovely place!

Great restaurant in the center of Bordeaux. I got the evening menu with fue gras, duck breast and creme brulle, everything was very tasty. Wines and drinks were slightly pricey at 7€ a glass, but the pours are generous. It's important to come early or reserve, because the place filled up in about 30 minutes from opening. There is a cozy room downstairs with a stone vault.

Whenever I have friends visiting Bordeaux, it's a ritual to go there! Now they all know this place! Top-notch food, great ingredients, and a great atmosphere! Special mention to Ahmed who has always given us a perfect welcome!

Wow - this place is awesome. The food is so good and a complete bargain at 27EUR for three courses (+2EUR supplement for the duck). The wine was good too, and the staff were lovely. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the portions and the lemon meringue was sublime. I could eat this meal again and again.

Les Drôles is a charming French bistro nestled among Bordeaux's historic streets, offering a warm and authentic atmosphere. Its stone walls and rustic decor create a pleasant setting. The menu, featuring homemade (fait maison) dishes, is quite appealing. However, the flavors were unfortunately below average. The main courses we ordered were fresh, but felt somewhat ordinary in terms of flavor depth and cooking balance; there was no memorable special touch. While prices are reasonable for the area, the portion sizes and flavor balance remain average. The service staff were friendly and cheerful, but coordination between the kitchen and dining area was somewhat lacking during busy hours. It's a good option for a practical and intimate lunch/dinner break in a historic setting, but it's best not to go expecting a high-end culinary experience.
